Pluto’s Meaning in Astrology: 

A planet of awesome (and often inexplicable) power, Pluto is a transformational planet.  It rules the inevitable changes that take place in the cycle of life from birth to death.  It is the planet of regenerative forces, of destruction and annihilation.  Pluto governs the uncovering of secrets of the past to clear the ground for the future. 

Pluto has been likened to that of nuclear fission, which both destroys and creates.  Like the two sides of a coin, its influences are opposite but part of the same.  Its force is felt as an undercurrent of turbulence and uncontrolled energy.

Pluto’s power represents the highest and the lowest of which humankind is capable; it is seen in both idealistic and dictatorial leaders.
